Besides Stephan is the creator of Theradrama which is a drama program specifically developed for people who have special needs.  Besides founding Theradrama, Mr. Breithaupt has won an Ovation award (the west coast Tony) for best featured actor in a musical.  He has also earned critical praise for the West Coast premiere of I Love A Piano, the New York Musical Theatre festivals favorite It Came From Beyond and international acclaim for his portrayal of Pontius Pilate in the direct from Broadway tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. The Chicago Sun Times, Daily Variety and The Edmonton Journal described Breithaupt's performance as galvanizing, impressive, masterful, excellent, and bringing a powerhouse voice to a portrayal of Pilate's which is palpable and reasonable. Broadway and road productions include Les Miserables,CATS, Sunset Blvd., and regional theatre in such plays as Deathtrap,The Beautiful Lady, Assassins, and Music Man. He has appeared in numerous television, film and commercials, and devotes much creativity to his own theatre for special populations.  Stephan's children, Chaz, Ryley, and Dustin, also perform and most recently were on stage together in San Juan Hills High School production of Les Miserables.
